the tidbit box finally found it's way to middle canada!!! i guess the customs' officers wanted to share in the joy of the parcel - since it was 3 weeks on it's journey to our place!
tidbits .. it's all about the little things ... those moments in life that we may miss, if we aren't paying attention ... sometimes it's just GOD reminding us that "it is I, do not be afraid" ... reassuring us that HE will be with us ... that HE remembers us ... loves us ...
check out what i saw one valentines day - just across the street from us ... a vehicle's tires had made double hearts in the snow ... to me it was more than a random happenstance, they were a reminder to me, that my Father in Heaven loves me - HE loved me so much that HE saved me through HIS Son Jesus ...
then another little happenstance? ... i had been grumbling to the Lord (just a wee bit, honest - it was just a little comment ... maybe two?) about how high the neighbour's hedges were getting ... totally blocking out the lovely view of the river from our living room ... well ... the next day there was a huge storm - which felled a tree - which the guys who cleaned up the mess, dragged through the hedge and made a peep hole for me! when i saw it - i just laughed (yes, with tears too) ... to me, my Heavenly Father was having some fun - saying HE can do anything - even give me back my view ...
tidbits in life can be those fleeting moments - when God speaks to us personally, in some unique way ... and at just the time when we need it most ...

So very true Saija! I love those little moments when it seems the Lord opens your understanding and gives you just what what you've needed in a very direct way. I am so happy the box made it to you! I look forward to more tidbits!
Those little things...that can be such big things...I sometimes refer to them as "hugs from God." And He is very faithful at giving great hugs!
if i kept a journal, i would remember more *hugs* from GOD - but unfortunately i'm haphazard about it all ... tho' i love to hear stories from others about their sweet moments with our very Present LORD ...
Isn't wonderful when the Almighty is stroking your head gently to tell, "I'm here, always."

hello saija...finally i have a chance to say hi...life is so busy sometimes...burning the candle at both ends..
those hearts were so nice and what good thoughts you got because of them.
we are into our third week of gospel meetings.telling the world how that the lord loved them so much that he sent his one and only son to die for them and wash all their sins away...welland is so full of sad and discouraged people and so it is so hard to believe that they won't come to a place where the lord would take them into his arms and save them and solve their problems and let them know that they will be in heaven one of these days...they just seem to be so blind!
saija...it is so nice to know that if we abide in his word, we are disciples indeed!....i am so often not abiding as i should but i am so glad that felisol is constantly reminding everyone that "he will never leave us or forsake us!"
