To God be the glory

I was coming home today and I was missing everyone already!  and I was just singing (no one can hear me in the car) and I was just thinking about how loved I felt this weekend and how blessed I feel!  It was amazing!  And this song came on, and then I was crying AGAIN!

You have done for me
Things so undeserved yet you gave.
To prove your love for me
the voices of a million angels
Could not express my gratitude
all that am and ever hope to be
i owe it all to thee
to god be the glory, to god be the glory
to god be the glory for the things he has done
he has done
with his blood he has saved me
with his power he has raised me
to God be the glory for the things he has done
just let me live my life and
let it be pleasing LORD to thee
and if i gain any praise let it go to Calvary
with his blood he has saved me
with his power he has raised me
to God be the glory for the things he has done
how great is our God
sing with me
how great is our God
and all will see
how great is our God

Ah....we should have sung that song...or did we?

We are all indeed blessed! I never cease to be amazed at the Lord at how He has gathered together this group of women...how He has knit our hearts together...it's all so very amazing!

Oh precious Margie, I miss you so much! How is it that such a brief time can translate into such a strong attachment in my heart?! It is indeed an amazing thing our God has done for us and an incredible gift He has given us in each other! This sisterhood has become more important to me than I ever dreamed it could. Each member is precious to my heart and blesses me in such individual and incredible ways. To God be the glory.....indeed!!!!

Many hugs.............

Diane

I'm still too full of the goodness of God that filled us all these last 4 days to write about it. Like a sun bather, I am basking in the glory of the Son!
Thank you each and every sister who attended and thank you to those who couldn't come, but sent prayers on our behalf. Surely the presence of the Lord was in that place!

dear margie- martha-mary...i can't even begin to express what you mean to me..you indeed are in the body, the arm that is whipping up delicious food to serve to your sisters..like martha cooking for the lord and his friends, not a lazy bone about her..you worked the whole time so quietly in the kitchen..most of the time but then like mary, you sat in the circle of sisters and listened...so many godly talks the sisters had, and i listened too and let those words wash right over my soul...such a great healing time i had....but i must tell you, you naughty girl that my scales have been complaining so much at the extra pounds they have to bear!!

i am glad that as i write this comment that i can listen at the same time to this delightful hymn...i would surely sing along with it in the car too, if i knew the words!!..haha
dad golden couldn't stop looking at you in the sisterhood picture when i told him that you were our kind cook and every so often he says..."that is the girl that cooked and just to think it is the girl that bought the supplies!" he just can't get over it...you see, i have put the sisters reunion picture on mom golden's desktop.
i love you margie and i am so glad to have met you face to face and i thank you so much for the gift of your cook book....love terry, your second oldest sister[hahahaha miss patty is the oldest! and if i keep this up, that miss patty will surely disown me!]...god bless you sweet margie- martha-mary
