End of the road...

My my! Here we are at the end of Ms Apron's visit already! Time surely does fly by! I believe I have cooked more this week than any time in ages...except for wedding week, of course. :) Tonight we finished off our time together with a family birthday party. My hubby and my Jadabear are both celebrating this week so tonight we had a J and her newlywed mommy and "daddy" over for dinner at Gigi and Popi's, along with a sleepover friend.

J got to pick the meal since she can eat regular food like the rest of us and Popi just had his meat and veggies and sat at the table with us...J's choice for dinner was spaghetti and meatballs..(her Granny makes delicious meatballs that freeze really well so we have those on hand most all the time) We didn't have enough this time so I made more using my made from memory recipe...they were ok..:)

We had spaghetti, salad, bread and of course birthday cake and icecream. Popi had a chocolate bar for his dessert...dark and 75% cacao...ick!
The grand finale was J and her friend snuggling down in the tent for an indoor campout and a movie....

Tomorrow Ms Apron will wing her way to the next sister on the list. Its been fun now on to more adventures!
