The Adventure Begins!

When I received this precious piece of mail from Julie, I wanted to take a nice picture of it, so I promptly pulled the ruby red musical magic carpet from under the cat, and he promptly told ME that he was not going to have anything to do with that multi-colored scarf and that means,no wrapping it around him for "no dumb pictures" either!
We will see about that tomorrow.
That Shopping News is always getting his nose bent out of joint!

When Bernie returned home from work, the little red car immediately demanded that he take a picture, so I got beside it with that lovely scarf wrapped around my neck.
That little red car of mine is always game for a photo shoot!

Mrs Mac, as you can see there is harldy a spot of snow and it is rather warm, so here I am just wearing a sweater.
A sweater that is decorated by that pretty scarf.

Little Madeline has the scarf wrapped around her head and I have surrounded her and my laptop with it again!

Time for a little shopping and the scarf wanted to see what the Canadian grocery stores are like.
We had fruit and Aunt Jemima syrup to pick up and we were also going to have a quick coffee at "Zhers" grocery store.

I carry the letters from the sisters in my purse and as we were having coffee, I decided to read them.
Bad idea!
I was overcome with tears as I read the moving words from my sisters, Mrs. Mac, Margie, Trish, Cheryl, Connie, Sara, Deb, Miss Patty, and Julie.
They are such good letters!
I hope Mrs. Mac, that at the end of the scarf's journey, you will let us see the letters that will be written by Rebbecca, Donna, Kell, Char, and Felisol.

This picture shows you just how happy I am with my visitor.

Bernie's turn to wear the scarf and have his mug shot taken.
The people around in the immediate area think that we are crazy but that has never bothered us any!

Bernie reads the letters and he is really pleased.
He is looking for ones written by Donna and Felisol, but all in good time,eh?

These children are my Sunday school passengers. The little red car picks them up for Sunday School each week.
They have been coming to Gospel meeting each night.
They sit in the front row every night where they can hear the good news that they are tbe sinners that the Lord Jesus died for.
The three little girls are sisters and their Dad is Muslim but he doesn't object to them coming out to the meetings.
Perhaps he will read the Sunday School papers and the Gospel plaques which the children bring home every Sunday and he will discover Jesus the one who died for HIM too.
It would truly be a miracle!

This is my friend Janice and me.
Janice teaches the three and four year olds in Sunday School.
I used to teach that small class.
One of her boys who I had when he was three years old has been married now for two years.
Her other son who I also taught will be getting married this coming Good Friday.
I feel so old but this scarf has brought new life into my bones and Bernie and I are really going to have some fun with it!
Tomorrow we will take it out to see the bridges that we have in the area.
Well good night for now dear sisters and HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!....Love Terry

Terry, it's so nice to see so many photos of you and the scarf! I was intriqued by the shopping cart --a "double decker". Our stores near my home should adopt that design --much more space to pack food in so that the bread doesn't get squished by the canned goods! And those kids --how precious --I have prayed that each person the scarf touches will be blessed beyond belief --so those kids are in for some big blessings in their lives!! Have fun with the scarf - can't wait to see more! (Oliva LOVES your ruby red car! Red is her second favorite color after purple!)

DEar Terry,
I missed this post, only your Valentine's post popped up on my machine.
I guess the scarf will get around quite a lot with you in the driver seat.
Bernie is more than a dear to put up with the scarf and all your devices.

I am impressed by you working to this extent with the Sunday School children.
My friend Ole the munch sent me an icon of St.James. His (James') words are, Be the doers of the word, not only the listeners of the word.
You are a true doer.
Imagine driving those kids not only to Sunday School, but also to gospel meetings.
You are truly sowing the good seed.
And we have the promises that his word shall not return empty.
From Felisol

Thank you for sharing! Your Hub is a good sport! I remember how mine kind of looked at me like I had WAY too much time on my hands! Ha Ha!

Bless your little heart for your ministry! I am saying a prayer that the dad will continue to allow his girls to go to church with you and that it will sow seeds in all of their hearts!

Have a lovely weekend!
