Thank You, Trish!

There's more, much more to Christmas
Than candlelight and cheer;
It's the spirit of sweet friendship
That brightens all year.
It's thoughtfulness and kindness,
It's hope reborn
For peace, for understanding,
And for goodwill to men!

Another Christmas tree ornament from Trish came in the mail today... and it's beautiful!

My Christmas tree this year will truly be special, what with two new lovely ornaments to put on it!

Trish, thank you for your thoughtfulness!

Wow .. a time traveler for sure. Very nice to finally get the ornaments ... what a treat to put up later this year. Is mail from the U.S.A. usually this slow to your area?

When I first saw this I though blogger was messed up sending me back a few months in posts.

Glad that it was as it is supposed to be.

All things have a season, even when we don't understand them, His timing is perfect!

Sisters,
Mail from US to Philippines takes two weeks. THat is standard. Since I don't live in Manila, I get the parcel a few days after 14 days. I forgot to mention that this decor was mailed by Trish early March, so it did get to me in time. The other one which Trish mailed in November got swamped under Christmas mail, so it got to Bacolod City in February. But I was out of town and didn't get to read the postal notices (I had two already) until I got back. By then I took a week to go to the post office to pick up the parcel. What I am so thankful for is that the gift arrived, even if it was so late. It could have gotten lost, or stolen! I know God was protecting those little boxes! They mean so much to our scarf-apron-bible-tree decor sisterhood!
