Remembering Our Sister Arlene

Yesterday, I went with Arlene's sister Peggy, to visit and put flowers on our Dear Sisters grave. We, make sure to start our day out by going to lunch. It seems fitting, since we spent so much time with Arlene sipping coffee and sharing a meal together.
Arlene was always on the go. Her purpose in life was serving and giving to others.
How blessed I am to call her friend...more so...to call her Sister.
I miss you Arlene, but I will meet you over yonder...just inside the Eastern Gate.
What a time we'll have!

oh trish..i am so glad that you brought your camera and shared this post with us!
arlene was one of a kind that is for sure...as a mother, grandmother, friend and sister to us all..no matter how ill she was, she always shared the lord with the people around her in the hospital..just like roger bennett did!
her prayers for dad golden were surely heard by the lord!
oh trish...it was our loss but heaven's gain when she was carried by the lord into heaven!
god bless you and peggy, trish...love terry

hey trish, don't you think that arlene would have been the life of the party over here at the sisters?
she and that connie and deb, we would really have had to keep in line, eh? hahahahaha!

I followed Arlene the last part of her journey.
She was so brave and she was so willing in prayer service for all of us.
I am glad that prayers said down here never expire on date up there.
Arlene's prayers are still before the Almighty's eyes.

Thanks for sharing this meeting.
From Felisol

I was just thinking the other day that we lost such a prayer warrior when Arlene went Home...but Felisol, you said it best when you said that our prayers never expire in Heaven! ...believing that Arlene's prayers for Dad Golden and so MANY others are still being carried to the Throne of Grace!

I miss my friend Arlene - I looked forward to her posts on my blog - and her words of encouragement, love and most of all, her prayers!

And Terry...as for me keeping myself in line....nah...it will never happen!!
