GOT A HAT TO GO WITH THIS SCARF?

So far the scarf and I haven't had any exciting adventures, just every day life as it happens. It's extremely cold here, right now it's 7 degrees. I'm beginning to think I will have hat hair through this entire adventure!

In the top picture, that lump covered in snow behind me is Hal's truck, and my car is in front of that, equally lost in the snow.

The next picture is me pretending to use the snow blower. I just posed in front of it and had Hal take my picture, then I went back into the house and had a bowl of soup.

I don't know what's next for the scarf and I. I sure hope it's more exciting then what I've done so far, but probably not...it's January, and that's my time of hibernation!!

Brrr. That is cold ... Well, even if you have a not too eventful week at home ... we can all take a peek at how you hibernate in snowy, cold Michigan. BTW ... Hal may have to put you to work with the snow blower ... you look like a pro ;)

Stay warm (you too, Cheryl, our southern sister).

Hugs from the balmy North Woods (38F)

mrs. mac is experiencing a heat wave for sure! This morning when I drove Olivia to the end of our driveway to catch the school bus, the temp in the van read -6. Minus six. Too cold for me. And that didn't include the wind chill! Of course, it's nice and toasty warm in our house - thanks to THE STOVE!

pat --you're too funny! posing and then ducking back indoors for some soup. I love it! Made me laugh! cheryl...12 in GA?! That's cold!

word verification for this post:

I guess it is with snow blowing like it is with wood chopping; do it yourself and get warmed twice.

Luckily that's not my part of the domestic work.
Even carrying in birch logs for the fireplace is hubby's job.
I am good at building at fire though, old scout and all that.

You are looking just at the top of things out with your snowblower.

Nothing like a steamy bowl of soup on a COLD day like today. All the Grandbabies and Kell are praying for no school on Friday, when the temps dip even lower. Do you know that on Tomer and Kell's pay stubs snow days are called "Acts of God?" Can't talk about Him in school but thankfully His name is still there somewhere.
Your adventure is just as it should be...sharing your lifes journey with the Sister's.
Everyone a blessing to this ol' gal!

Hot soup on a cold day - works for me! Our poor scarf is getting frostbite up there!! The scarf is going to think it's in the Bahamas when it reaches NC!!!! Brrrrrr
