Following God

It's been a while since I posted here.  Since our Bible was lost and now found ... and taking her sweet time once again, I thought I'd pop in and share.

Today I had an amazing opportunity to go with my oldest daughter, Elizabeth (Katie), and be with her and her husband as they visited a specialist.  They are expecting a daughter in December and it's been determined that the baby has a heart defect.

As you can imagine, getting that type of news on Monday was a shock.  I was at that ultrasound appointment as well.  Today's appointment was at least an hour and a half.  Forty-five minutes for the new ultrasound and 45 minutes with the doctor.  While it is a serious defect, it is treatable.   Tomorrow we will go to a cardiologist and find out more details.

Thank you to all that have been praying for my daughter and her family.  I'm sure the road ahead will be bumpy .. but God is leading the way ... and we're following right behind.

Hugs,

Cathy- Sometimes it is hard as humans to understand the ways of God, but we know he doesn't make mistakes. We will all be lifting your family up in prayer through these coming months and on. I know you and your family will be seeking God continually and leaning on his everlasting arms. Be blessed - Cyndi

Dear Mrs. Mac,
I ditto Terry.
God is still in charge, and we shall not stop reminding him about your grand daughter and your family.

It's not a year ago since our sister Crown of Beauty had a grandson, Full of Hope, who had a bad prognosis. He is living and thriving and is so wonderfully blooming of life and health.
I know our Heavenly Father can make the same wonder twice.

God is a miracle working God, dear Mrs. Mac. Do tell Katie to speak as often as she can to her baby inside, with these words: "I speak life, health and healing to you my little one. I command that heart to be made whole. By the stripes of Jesus we are healed." I am keeping Katie and her baby in my prayers.

Love
