HOLIDAY MAGIC!!

I was tickled to receive my Christmas ornament from Scarf Sister Margie in the mail! It came from the great North to the warm and sunny South! I love how it reminds me of the wooden butter molds from days gone by! Now I have to decide which tree to hang it from since I decorate 3 trees for Christmas!

Your ornament is beautiful,
Connie. I love that you
decorate three trees! I have
a friend who has trees of
various sizes in three rooms
of her house. I used to have
two, only one now. It's still
such fun to decorate.

it is so pretty connie...sure is going to be a hard choice where you put it!
two years ago the tree in your front room would be a good place for that heart...after all, the beautiful family pictures would make margie's gift ornament feel right at home!!
love terry

ps...connie..this is the prettiest picture that i have ever seen of you.

Hi Sandy!
Our house is rustic decor and so we have 2 pine trees up (one is lighted) all year long. I tend to put our souveneir ornaments (all rustic) on one of them and last year I put all glass, glittery ones on the other. The main tree (always a live one) in the living room is a mixture of ornaments and I am guessing that it will go on that one!

Aww.. Terry you're so sweet to say that and I don't even have my make up on!!

What most people do not know is that almost 6 months ago, I took myself off the steroids that I have been on for 5+ years. I have felt so much better even though I have had to be very careful not to get hurt to where I bleed since my platelets are very low. Just last night my daughter Laura asked if I had lost weight since we were looking at pictures from last Christmas. I'm not all swollen and puffy anymore!

Thank you for the compliment!

All the ornaments are so lovely and the spirit in which they are given even sweeter! So sorry I missed out on the swap this year! :(

Hi from a misty and murky UK. I found your blog after visitn Amrita. What a fabulous blog you have. I love your ornament and the fact you have received it through friendship is lovely. I've just been complaining to my husband about the commercialism of Christmas nowadays and how the spirit of it is more important. People spend too much on 'things' and forget what matters is friendship and family. eally pleased to have met you.
Kind wishes to you and 'your sisters'

Hi Facing 50! Glad you stopped in! I just faced 50 2 months ago myself!

I think if you ask all of us over here we have really enjoyed being a part of this sisterhood.

Our first year we passed a scarf around and each "sister" took turns sharing pictures and blogging about their time with the scarf. Last year it was an apron and we shared recipes and meals! This years adventure is a Bible being passed around.

I have found so much encouragement here from these "sisters" upholding me with prayer, while dealing with stressful and painful issues. I haven't had the honor of meeting them face to face yet but I know whatever need arises, I have but to make it known and they will storm the gates of heaven on my behalf!

Have a blessed Christmas, may the love of our Savior wrap His arms around you and those you love!

I forgot to mail the card, and now i can't find it, I picked it partly because the two flowers carved reminded me of God and how He had carved the love that you and dave have for each other! how His love is carved out into your loving heart! I'm so super glad you liked it!
