while looking at you tube for this song for my own blog , "it is well with my soul". i came across this version of it and it is so good that i thought the sisters would appreciate it with all the trials that seem to be going on.[with us all!]

oh mrs. mac..i was in dire straits becuase i have been trying to get the video in the right way so that all the words can be read...i really can't remember how but at last it is right!....love terry

Tears are flooding while I am listening; "It is well with my soul".
This song has special meaning to me. About 14 years ago, I got a phone call to say that the baby my brother and his wife were expecting had stopped growing, his little heart had stopped beating, and they assumed he was dead. A few minutes later we went to our in-home Bible study group. The leader opened the session with a hymn: It Is Well With My Soul. We told the group about this little child who was lost, and we all prayed for my brother and sister in law. A couple of days later, she delivered their son, and he was buried shortly thereafter. They named him Benjamin Shalom.
Ever since, I think of him every time I hear that song. I can now get through it without tears, most times, but every once in awhile it still gets to be too much.
They have 3 other children, now, little brothers and a little sister for Benjamin to meet someday.
