this morning the little red car was still not cleaned..the rain we were expecting from mrs. mac didn't materialize!....but the little red car did permit me to take these pictures as i was on my way to pick up my sunday school kids. fortunately, we had a red light and so i could snap this picture of our apron.
miss apron felt right at home with my big black purse and my bible and hymn book.
this picture of daisy was taken after the little red car dropped me and my four kids off at the door.
daisy's little cousin was quite willing to have her photo taken too....two pretty little spanish girls indeed!
alas though, these were the last pictures that i was able to take...when we returned to dad and mom golden's place for dinner, i discoverd that i had left my camera at sunday school. woe is me!!
well.....good old bernie to the rescue..he had his phone camera with him!..after i had wrapped dad golden in the apron, he was willing for me to take this picture..dad golden had taken it a bit easy today....instead of cooking a roast of beef and veggies and mashed potatoes, he had decided to buy store made little shepherd's pie and baked potatoes....doesn't he just look so adorable in the apron?
mom golden wanted to wear it too and here she is with her nagging daughter!
after dinner, that bernie was stuck in the kitchen wet to his elbows, washing the dishes...his weekly job on a sunday at dad and mom goldens'.
and here jordan and i do our weekly job of filling out grampa golden's pill dispenser...i always keep a careful eye on the little guy as he counts out the pills ..1 2 3 4 5 6 7.....enough for seven days.
here is my beautiful sister, gracie with her cute grand son, jordan...
and here sits little jordan covered with our apron, looking as pretty as a little girl!..ha!
well the rain came this evening and right after gospel meeting , the little red car allowed us to finaaly take a picture....alas though miss apron and her sister miss sisterhood multi-coloured scarf had been left at home...can't take the chance that they catch a cold..after all they have to both accompany bernie and me the little red car tomorrow to mcmaster hospital in hamilton for my visit to the specialist..to see how my old body is doing!....i will be taking pictures there of the two of them......love terry
ps ..mrs. mac, the little red car thanks you so much for the showers that you have sent and requests that you send no more snow, eh?

thanks!!just keep it wet and no white stuff, eh?.love terry
Oh what fun. Everybody modelling with the apron. I could not visit the SS for sometime so I was unaware of the hopping and skipping apron.
This is great Terry. The warmth and love of your family stand out.
And I love Gracie 's shoes.
Dear Miss Apron Terry,
What fun Miss apron must have accompanying you all around the the town to Sunday School and Family dinner. Dad Golden sure is game, playing along. I'd never get my Dad to wear an apron, nor Gunnar for that sake. Dad Golden and Bernie are men whatever they choose to wear, that's for sure.
Hope you found your precious camera later on.
also praying for your trip to Hamilton.
I think the good Lord takes care of you and the weather.
Poor Mrs. Mac can't take the blame for everything.
Now, sleep well and drive safely,
From Felisol
Loved seeing the photos - especially of Dad Golden...he has a special place in my heart, you know...praying for him on a daily basis....sorta binds you together in the realm of the Spirit! One day, I'm convinced that should I not have the chance to meet him here on earth, I will for sure meet him in heaven! Such a precious soul...and how nice to go along with modeling our dear apron!
Our Apron enjoyed Sunday School in Canada...she went with me here in the good ol' USA. She is seeing the world.
Song we used to sing...Everybody ought to go...Everybody ought to go...Everybody ought to go...to Sunday School! Of course, we Sunday School Teachers would sing that don't you think Miss Terry?
Pray you had a safe trip to Hamilton, waiting to hear what the Dr. had to say.
Love,
trish
Dearest Terry,
You are really the cutest! Letting everyone wear Miss Apron and having them pose for a snapshot...including bernie (who never seems to mind having his pic taken while wearing the apron0, and mom and dad golden too!
Such a heartwarming post, with your little stories.
Thanks for giving us your readers such an enjoyable time.
Love
Lidj
