My heart is so broken and sad today, yet also so extremely joyful and thankful to have known this wonderful man and to have been loved so completely by him. We had just over 33 1/2 years of a wonderful marriage, plus 2 years of courtship and getting to know each other before that.
We had our struggles and bad times like all married couples do, but the whole of it was precious and wonderful. I will never get over that love, nor will I get over missing Terry.
As difficult as today is, it isn't nearly as hard as I had feared it would be. I know that is because I am so embraced in love and prayers by wonderful family and friends who love me and who love Jesus and are interceding on my behalf.
I cannot tell you how blessed I feel today! I love you all and will make a scarf post tonight before I go to bed.
I'm crying after reading the story of your love, Diane. What a beautiful story - filled with God's love. What a blessing Terry was (and still is!) in your life!
