"you're really living the life"

My daughter always makes me laugh... and I think today she was laughing at me instead of with me...

She loves the scarf... she wants Mrs. Mac to get her one of her own... I wore it to work. I typically don't wear a coat until it's subarctic, just a scarf... how about that... so today, I looked amazing in my scarf...

Then tonight I had an Alive Leader's meeting. It was FREEZING in the room, but I had my scarf... toasty warm all over. And then I thought "ugh... not pics today" so I grabbed my girlfriend's little munchykins and took pics with them. My daughter's reply "you're really living the life".

I am. You see, life isn't about big things or even things at all. It's about people in our lives who make an impact in a positive way. It's about love. Pure and simple, love.

Only God could have put us all together to pray for each other, to laugh together, to cry together, to support each other, and to love each other, no matter whether we've met in person or not. Only God. We're sewn together with the thread of love that He's given to us in His grace and mercy and faith.

So, I do really live the life. The life I'm intended to live.

Number 11:23-24 23 The LORD answered Moses, "Is the LORD's arm too short? You will now see whether or not what I say will come true for you."
24 So Moses went out and told the people what the LORD had said. He brought together seventy of their elders and had them stand around the Tent.

Margie ... all I can say is ... 'you're really living the life' ... my daughter laughed at me too over the scarf ... when she left for school this morning wearing 'a' scarf, I asked her if she wanted a Sisterhood Scarf ... she just giggled and patted my head. You are the perfect candidate to be the first recipient ... what a way to spread some 'Sonshine' ... way to go Margie!!!

Nice pics. I can cope with lots of smiles and beautiful babies.
It's this signing up thing that has bothered me.
Now I'm on and enjoying.

So Margie, where do you live? Here in Texas we are pretty much "coatless" during the Winter. There are occasions when one is needed but for the most part, I do nicely in my cutesy little sweaters from KOHL's. I'm thinking how cute that scarf is going to look with one of them!

Thanks for starting our morning out with a bit of the Word!
Hugs,
Connie

Margie, your comments are perfect!

I love how God has knit us together...in the scarf!! He is amazing and I consider myself super blessed to be counted in this wonderful group of Christian friends. Friends who support one another in prayer, who laugh together, and cry together, and send cyberhugs together. I'm thinking that we need a reunion THIS side of heaven!!

Margie! You look awesome, so alive and happy. I took a very long break (mia culpa) and voila when I get back find you looking fab. (How many different languages did I just use in that last sentence?) I loved your post. Hugs coming your way....and smiles..
