We like to have toasted sandwiches as a snack. These can be made in a hotwich maker.this one is an electric one.

This sandwich maker can be used on a gas ring. Quite useful if there is no electricity.

I used brown bread . Brown bread is healthier as its made with whole wheat flour instead of refined flour. The other day I made my own whole wheat bread and it turned out OK. you can make your own sandwich filling. I made a filling with mashed boiled potatoes with salt and pepper and minced onions. You can use cheese or cooked meat, or any kind of left overs, anything you fancy.

The sandwich is toasted in the heated case and it turns out like this

Serve them with ketchup, dip or chutney.

This is our okra dish with chapati. I browned some thinly sliced onions in vegetable oil. Then put in the cut up okra. Before cutting okra make sure it is completely dry, otherwise it will become gummy. So dry the vegetable with a kitchen towel before cutting it. You can add a little lemon juice to make the veg crispy and salt according to your taste. Fry the veggie until soft and brown on medium heat.
There are many way of preparing okra. With yogurt, in a curry, with lamb meat or stuffed with spices and fried.

The Apron of the Servant King.

The last apron we shall be talking about is the one worn by Jesus as He stooped down to wash the feet of His disciples before the last supper.
Just as He laid aside His garments and wrapped a towel around Himself, He laid aside his divinity and put on human flesh.
14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only,[d] who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1 (NIV)
The King of Heaven became a humble servant. Mark 10 ;45 says that Jesus did not come to be served but to serve.
We are called to do the same.
5Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in very nature[a] God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7but made himself nothing, taking the very nature[b] of a servant, being made in human likeness.
8And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross!
9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Phillipians 2 (NIV)
Dear Sisters, with this I bid you farewell, adieu, , salam, namastey for the present series, but shall visit and post whenever occasion calls. Miss Apron and I enjoyed doing this together.
