Tonight we feasted on Steve's delectable chili. A mouth-watering combination of ground meat, kidney beans, onions, peppers and a boatload of spices!!

I don't think Steve actually has a recipe, it just evolves every time from whatever spices, etc. we have on hand. He loves cooking in his Dutch oven though. The chili actually slow-cooked in the oven, inside the Dutch oven. There you have it, folks! Break out the antacids and join the feast!!!

now i have always disliked tattle talers but this is NOT fair!....MRS. Mac..???
OK, just calm down there Miss Terry, you know what they say about tale bearers (?) ;)
Gotta love a guy that can cook ... and uses such a fantastic Dutch oven! And this blue one would have looked great next to the guy (wearing THE apron) posing for a pic ... but it may take a little buttering up for him to do so for the sisters, eh?
well mrs mac..i sure hate to be telling tales but the reason char's sweetheart wasn't wearing that apron is because he got it all stained with that recipeless chili sauce...serves him right that he got caught...now trust me i KNOW that he did this!!
love terry

yum! chili!!
My school teacher who taught essay writing said, "Write as if the reader has no idea about the subject."
I have never made a chili casserole.
I'm an American food illiterate.
Please help me, dear chef.

Lol....Steve, look at all the pressure - these ladies want a recipe. (I know, I know, I never use a recipe either!)
...and a photo....they want a photo. At least you have to HOLD the apron or something....how about a pic of you tying the apron on Char? What they really want to see is your smiling face? (Besides, if Char is wearing the apron then she gets the blame for the chili stains!) ;)
